Wizkid’s recent live performance of his upcoming album ‘More Love, Less Ego’ at London’s Roundhouse will be available to stream on Apple Music in over 165 countries on Monday, November 14th.
Wizkid is the latest artist to take the stage for Apple Music Live, a live performance series on Apple Music that provides the biggest stars in music with a global platform to connect with audiences worldwide. Apple Music Live, which debuted this spring, has previously featured exclusive live-streamed performances by global superstars Harry Styles, Lil Durk, Mary J. Blige, and Luke Combs.
Wizkid’s Apple Music Live performance includes some of the first performances of songs from his highly anticipated new album ‘More Love, Less Ego,’ which will be released on November 11th.
He recently spoke with Dotty, the host of Apple Music 1, about the new project, his global influence, and what fans can expect from his Apple Music Live show. Wizkid stated during the interview, which will be available on Friday, November 11th, that:
“Apple Music has always been a supporter of my career and a major tool in connecting me with my fans,” Wizkid said upon the announcement of the performance. “Collaborating with them on something like this is special. I’m excited to debut new music from my forthcoming album ‘More Love, Less Ego’ and share my Apple Music Live show with fans across the world.”
Wizkid is one of Africa’s most successful exports and one of the world’s biggest music acts. In the summer of 2020, his international smash hit ‘Essence,’ featuring Tems and Justin Bieber, peaked at No. 9 on the Global Daily Top 100.
