Global smash hit, Essence, by Wizkid featuring Tems has set an historic record on Billboard charts since its creation.
Since its creation in 1993, no song has spent one year on Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay Chart. But ‘Essence’ By Wizkid featuring Tems and Justin Bieber has spent over 52 weeks on the top 10 since debuting July 2021.
The song is not only the first African song but the first song ever to attain such a feat.
