Nigerian megastar Wizkid is set to perform in London Stadium in what is expected to be a historic performance in 2023. He has set the date for his London Stadium performance as part of his ‘More Love, Less Ego‘ tour for June 1st, 2023.
The megastar will be the first African to perform at the 80,000-capacity stadium, which currently serves as the home of Premier League side West Ham United.
Wizkid released his fifth studio album, ‘More Love, Less Ego,’ on November 11, 2022, and he followed it up with his 2023 tour dates, which will begin with shows in America and Canada.
Wizkid recently sold out the 20,000-person Zigo Dome in the Netherlands, delighting fans with a selection of his classic hits.
Wizkid has yet to officially announce the date for his London stadium show, but he has hinted at it on Twitter. The show’s tickets are already available online, and the date is set for June 1st, 2023.

Wizkid’s London stadium performance follows Burna Boy’s earlier announcement that he will perform at the stadium on June 3rd, 2023.
Wizkid’s decision to schedule his show just two days before Burna Boy’s has sparked outrage among fans, especially since the two had an online spat just days before Wizkid released ‘More Love, Less Ego.’
In any case, the prospect of two Afrobeats megastars selling out London’s 80,000-capacity stadium in three days is another high point for the genre.
