Wizkid rose to prominence as a result of the success of Afrobeat, particularly through collaborations with Drake and Beyoncé. With a Grammy and several global hits under his belt, the Nigerian artist and father of four children has released a new album titled More Love, Less Ego.
While speaking with GQ France, Wizkid reveals the message behind his new album, More Love; Less Ego.
With the album Made In Lagos, he hoped to familiarize people with his roots, while his newest project shares a message of love.
According to him, love should be the greatest religion in the world, and he believes that everyone can truly love each other.
He said:
“For Made in Lagos, I wanted people to know where I come from and who I am. With More Love, Less Ego, I want to share a message of love and let people vibrate. Love should be the greatest religion in the world. I think everyone can love each other, for real. My message is “Do love each other and take care of your neighbour”
