Wizkid recently delivered an unforgettable performance at Afro Nation Miami, the largest Afrobeats music festival worldwide. He performed several of his chart-topping hits, including “Come Closer,” “Abracadabra,” “Bad To Me,” and “Pami,” and even surprised the audience by inviting Nigerian singer-songwriter BNXN on stage for a collaboration on their hit single, “Mood.” The stage design was impressive, featuring a staircase, and the visuals were captivating.
Following this performance, it was announced that Wizkid will embark on a highly anticipated North American tour, spanning seventeen cities. After his More Love, Less Ego tour was postponed “due to unforeseen circumstances” in March, Wizkid has announced rescheduled dates for this year’s tour. Fans can expect an incredible showcase of Wizkid’s talent and charisma as he brings his captivating live performances to audiences across the continent
Prior to More Love, Less Ego was Wizkid’s breakout album, 2020’s Made In Lagos. That project boasted 14 songs and assists from the likes of Burna Boy, Skepta, Damian Marley, H.E.R., Ella Mai, Tay Iwar, and Tems, the last of whom appeared on the runaway hit “Essence.” Since then, he has provided showstopping guest verses on tracks like “Slow Motion” by Don Toliver, “Call Me Every Day” by Chris Brown, and more.
